Description
Tasted on 2/22/22. The bottle that Mark and Richard opened came fresh out of a brand-new case from the Merchantfinewine.com Cellar. The cork and fill are in excellent condition. We tasted it immediately after opening and I couldn’t have been more surprised. The nose is filled with berries, the hue looked like it was freshly bottled. The tannins are soft and the acidity is medium. There is a hint of spice and the oakyness is very balanced, the fruit is still showing very will. If I had to describe this bottle I would say it is at it’s peak. Mark’s rating is 92 and Richard’s rating 93+.This bottle is a hidden gem and great value at this price. Here’s one that you should not pass up.
