Parker, Jr.RATED 92+ Drink: 2014 – 2030 The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Ardore (100% Cabernet Sauvignon), which is their top cuvée at least from a price standpoint, is rich as it sees a lot of high-quality new oak, especially Darnajou and Taransaud barrels. Deep purple, with notes of charcoal, burning embers, blackcurrants, sweet toast and licorice, the wine is full-bodied, has terrific fruit and should drink well for at least another 15+ years. Proprietors Tom and Vicki Celani use Mark Herold as their consultant, who has produced these wines, ranging from very tiny production of the 100% Merlot Siglo Reserve (100 cases), to nearly 1,000 cases of the Tenacious.
