VERTICAL VALDOBBIADENE PROSECCO SUPERIORE DOCG EXTRA DRY "GIUSTINO B." 2015 – 2016 – 2017 – RUGGERI (WOODEN BOX): WHY WE LIKE IT

Dedicated to Giustino Bisol, founder of the winery in 1950, this Prosecco Superiore is the result of long trials and special selections and cares that, started in the vineyard, then continue until aging in the bottle. The "Giustino B." is therefore the most vivid expression of Ruggeri’s experience, the desire to seek the best, the passion for glera grapes. After vinification the wine rests at low temperature until spring, when it enters the autoclave for the taking of foam. It will be released for bottling in early June, demonstrating year after year, harvest after harvest, to continue to be one of the most iconic Prosecco of the denomination.

Undoubtedly to be included among the most important wineries of Valdobbiadene, the Ruggeri company, founded in 1950 by Giustino Bisol, is a winery that has always been able to express some of the best Prosecco of the entire denomination. The Bisol family boasts, in fact, a centuries-old tradition as well as deep roots in the wine culture of the valdobbiadene territory. The toponym "Case Bisoi" (i.e. "le Case dei Bisol") is found, already in the oldest maps, right in the center of the current Cartizze area.

Today, the winery is led by Paolo Bisol, flanked by his sons Giustino and Isabella, and can count on some of the most beautiful vineyards in the whole area, including a small plot in Cartizze, as well as twenty hectares in the nearby area of Montello. Some of the conferrers of the Ruggeri winery also own important vineyards in the historic hamlets of San Pietro di Barbozza, Santo Stefano and Saccol, which have always been unanimously recognized as the qualitative apex of the entire Prosecco denomination. In the vineyard, the plants are bred with the utmost respect for the environment and the ecosystem, and the grapes that can be harvested are frank, rich and concentrated in all their organoleptic components. In the cellar, the premises were completely renovated and expanded in the early nineties, so as to be able to accommodate and work up to 30 thousand quintals of grapes per yea
