Parker, Jr.Rated 88 Drink: now By far the best fully mature Prieure-Lichine over the last 20 years, the dark garnet-colored 1990 has a very fragrant nose of spice box, Christmas fruitcake, cedar, tobacco, smoke, and jammy red as well as black currants flavors. The wine is medium-bodied, quite ripe, with low acidity, a lush expansiveness, and fine purity in its lusty, heady finish. Anticipated maturity: Now.
