Wine Advocate #89 Oct 1993 Robert M. Parker, Jr. 85 Drink: Dalla Valle’s only Cabernets that are less than stellar, but still very good, are their two 1989s. Given the vintage, they are powerful and tannic, but not as concentrated in extract or fruit. It remains to be seen how they will age. If the fruit holds up and the tannins melt away, my ratings will look conservative.
