The deep garnet-purple colored 2018 La Dame de Bou?rd features notes of crushed red and black plums, wild blueberries and black cherries with touches of violets, star anise and smoked meats. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has lovely poise, with soft tannins and background freshness supporting the black and red fruit to a perfumed finish. The blend here is 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon.
